NMT® Electrodes’ Halar®/HMWPE cable is a stranded single conductor with a dual insulation construction, which means it is able to be installed directly into native soils or submerged in fresh, brackish or salt waters.
The primary insulation (inner layer) is composed of ECTFE (Ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene) fluoropolymer, Halar®.
The secondary insulation (outer layer) is composed of High Molecular Weight polyethylene (HMWPE).
